I am often asked, “What do I need to do to be successful in MLM/Network Marketing?”

There are a number of answers to this, I guess, but the key thing I feel is that you keep doing it. I remember many years ago when I was first introduced to traditional network marketing. My first training session was with this hyper active Australian corporate trainer. He was living and breathing that NIKE logo – Just Do It.

You can imagine it, can’t you. “You have just got to do it, keep doing it. Do it. Don’t stop. Just talk to everyone you know about this fantastic opportunity! Just do it!”

Well, we were all just yelling and hollering and saying , “YES, YES, YES”! We went  away feeling all warm inside and uplifted by the stories of him racing to a meeting in his ferrari trying to beat his mate in a aeroplane!

And the result? The same as happens now. Just a few percentile of the people in attendance, “DID IT!”

Well I soon got fed up of all of that. I lost more friends than soft mick using that traditional network marketing approach. All that inviting your grandmother to attend hotel meetings. Yuchh, not for me.

But one thing is for sure it is the same with an online network marketing business. We need to keep DOING IT! Once we have selected our network marketing opportunity and our sponsor, then we need to be focussed on the actions we need to take to be successful.

I have just written a 30 day newsletter for my member site team. I have provided daily tasks that will help them to become an online MLMPro within 30 days. It is my belief that if we get into these good habits of doing something every day, we will succeed online.

That could be sending out an email, building our facebook friends, putting up a blog post, doing a bit of traffic exchange surfing…there are lots of things we can do to keep our network marketing opportunity on the road to success!

It isn’t rocket science. We don’t need to bother our friends and neighbours. We just need to connect with the millions of people using the world wide web and share what we believe is a good idea! They are often  just browsing the internet, searching for us. Or they are in mailings lists we can access , waiting for the right opportunity to come along.

In particular we need to do all that we can to connect with our  list, our subscribers and share with them our learning. Help them on their way. As we help others, so will we benefit from the service we give. It’s the law!

How many people will follow my 30 day programme? Not sure. I hope they all will, because I really want them to succeed. But what I do know, is that those who do follow a daily programme of action, will be leaders in that second month. They will be seen as MLMPros.

Tony Robbins said that: “It is in our moments of decision that our destiny is formed.”

I hope you decide today to, DO IT. That you will take steady, daily steps to achieve your goals. That you will not STOP.

Perhaps one day we can tell a story or two. Share a cool story of our success (I bags the aeroplane!)…but in the mean time we just need to take it step by daily step.
